All JUMO thermostats are certified in accordance with the latest version of the standards DIN EN 50155, DIN EN 50121, and DIN EN 45545. In addition, these thermostats are extremely durable. For instance, the panel-mounted thermostats from the EM type series have passed a test in which they completed 5.3 million switching processes without a single fault. In continuous operation, this result yields an operating life of up to 20 years.

JUMO panel-mounted thermostats enable efficient control and monitoring of thermal processes without the use of auxiliary power. The temperature controller operates according to the liquid expansion principle: the filling liquid in the measuring system expands when warmed and thereby actuates a microswitch via a transmission mechanism. Within the railway industry panel-mounted thermostats from the EM series are used for such tasks as monitoring and controlling air curtain systems. They are also used in doors or for climate monitoring.

Due to an aluminum die-cast case bottom section and an impact-proof polycarbonate case top section JUMO AMTHF series surface-mounted thermostats are impervious to environmental influences. As a result, these thermostats can be used not only for air conditioning but also to regulate and monitor temperatures in oil transformers.
ATH-SW series surface-mounted thermostats are particularly well-suited for anti-freeze monitoring in service water, wastewater, and quench water tanks. Thanks to the painted die-cast housing the thermostat is particularly durable and meets the requirements of protection type IP65. These thermostats are also available in versions suited to mounting on DIN rails.
