JUMO has been a family-run business since 1948 and nowadays is managed by the third generation. JUMO doesn't run after every single trend, but makes its decisions through carefully analyzing and evaluating future opportunities. It was already with a sound sense of judgement that the company's founder, Moritz Juchheim, expanded the product portfolio and internationalized what was once a thermometer factory. After founding its first subsidiary in Belgium in 1971, JUMO managed to become the globally active corporate group that it is today without making a single acquisition. With its R&D site based in Fulda, JUMO has its roots in this particular region. At the same time, however, the world is its home.
